This Privacy Policy explains how VINJONES, LLC(“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use Teaching Restored Members and related services, including the member portal at members.teachingrestored.com and the Teacher AI Evaluation at evalapp.teachingrestored.com (together, the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to this Policy.

Information we collect

Information you provide. When you create an account we collect your first and last name, email address, phone number, state, and country, along with the password you choose (stored only in hashed form by our authentication provider) and your communication preferences (whether you opt in to SMS, and your email marketing preference).

Payment information. Subscription payments are processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card number. We store limited billing details such as your subscription status, plan, renewal date, and identifiers Stripe provides (for example, a customer ID and the card brand and last four digits).

Content you upload. To use the Teacher AI Evaluation, you upload audio recordings of your instruction. We use your recording only to generate your evaluation and do not keep it: the audio is automatically deleted as soon as it has been transcribed, and the transcript is deleted once your evaluation has been generated. Only the resulting evaluation (the analysis and metrics) is retained so we can display your results. Recordings may contain the voices and contributions of other people (for example, class participants). You are responsible for having the rights and consents needed to record and upload that content — see our Terms of Service.

Information collected automatically. Like most online services, we collect basic log and usage data (such as IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps) and use cookies. We use an essential authentication cookie scoped to .teachingrestored.com so that a single login works across both the member portal and the evaluation app. These cookies are necessary for the Service to function.

How we use information

• Create and manage your account and membership.
• Process the Teacher AI Evaluation — transcribe and analyze the audio you upload and generate your results.
• Process subscription payments and manage billing and renewals.
• Send you transactional messages (confirmations, receipts, service notices).
• Send marketing emails and, if you opt in, SMS messages — you can opt out at any time.
• Provide support, maintain security, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

How the AI evaluation handles your audio

When you submit a recording, it is transmitted to and processed by third-party artificial intelligence providers that transcribe the audio and analyze the transcript to produce your evaluation. We use these providers only to deliver the Service to you. We do not retain your audio or transcript: the audio recording is deleted as soon as transcription completes, and the transcript is deleted once your evaluation has been generated — only your evaluation results are stored. You may also delete an evaluation from your account at any time. Residual copies may persist briefly in encrypted backups before being overwritten.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who process it on our behalf, and only as needed to run the Service:

• Stripe — payment processing.
• Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage hosting.
• Vercel — application hosting.
• ActiveCampaign — email and SMS marketing and contact management.
• AI processing providers — transcription and analysis of uploaded audio.
• Paperform — hosting our contact form and delivering the messages you submit through it.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

Email and SMS communications

By creating an account you agree to receive membership and marketing emails; you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any marketing email. If you opt in to SMS, you consent to receive text messages at the number you provide. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel or HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Opting out of marketing does not stop essential transactional messages.

Data retention

Uploaded audio and transcripts are not retained — they are deleted automatically as described above. We keep your account information and evaluation results while your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. If you cancel or your membership lapses, we retain billing and transaction records as required for legal, tax, and accounting purposes, and may retain other data as permitted by law. You may request deletion of your account and associated content as described below.

Your choices and rights

• Access and update your profile information from your account settings.
• Opt out of marketing email (unsubscribe link) or SMS (reply STOP) at any time.
• Request a copy or deletion of your personal information by emailing us.
• Depending on your state of residence, you may have additional rights to know, access, correct, delete, or limit certain uses of your personal information, and to not be discriminated against for exercising them. We do not sell personal information.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit and hashed password storage. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

The Service is intended for adults. It is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.

U.S.-based service

The Service is operated in the United States and intended for U.S. users. If you access it from elsewhere, your information will be processed in the United States.

Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above, and material changes may be communicated through the Service.
